Items Are Recommended for a Novice Moon Mage? C. What Is a Rune, and How Can I Use It? Runes are magical devices which allow the user to cast a specific spell a limited number of times. There are different types of runes for different spells. Novices can usually find someone who will give them a spare rune for free. To gain skill in magical devices, hold the rune in one hand with the other hand empty and FOCUS RUNE (you can also focus on a rune which is lying on the ground). To cast the spell, RUB RUNE and cast when ready (remember, runes have a limited number of uses). When your skill with magical devices is high enough, you will be able to change the charge of the rune with FOCUS RUNE <amount in %>. |
