VII. Ranger Magic F. Nature Manipulation 1. Compost: This spell will compost all things in the room except metal objects and increase the life mana available. The extra life mana lasts for only a very very short time, so it's not all that useful. And the effect of removing items from the room can be done with a certain beseech later on. This is a spell that would not be a bad choice as a beginning spell, depending what magic route you wish to go. 2. Swarm: (requires attaining your 10th circle in the guild) Swarm will summon a bunch of hornets. The spell has varying effects in various types of terrain. Be very careful while using this spell as the hornets can turn on you, or anyone else in the room. Getting Sphere of Protection before this spell is a very good idea since it will protect you from the hornets. 3. Harawep's Bonds: (requires Swarm) Harawep's Bonds is a truly deadly spell in skilled rangers hands. If you're good enough, you will be able poison creatures with it. Even if you are not a skilled enough mage to poison, something trapped in a web will not be nearly as effective at dodging your attacks. This spell takes a lot of magic practice to use to it's highest potential, but it is a spell that will grow with you and is very fun. |
