Once you are trained to your satisfaction, DIR TRADER GUILD to go on to the guild. In Crossing, this puts you in the front lobby of the guild hall. Climb the stairs, go north, and go office to find Guild leader Imaar. In Riverhaven, you'll be in the front lobby of the guild hall, and simply go office to find Guild leader Willowbrook.

Type JOIN while standing at the Guild leader. He or she will ask you to confirm (type JOIN again). Congratulations! You're a Trader!

Be sure to wait and listen to the entire speech before you continue. Once the Guild leader is finished talking to you, try typing ASK IMAAR ABOUT LEVEL (or ASK WILLOW ABOUT LEVEL, if you're in Riverhaven). They'll tell you what skills you'll have to work on to get your first promotion – it's quite a list, but don't despair, you'll be there before you know it.
