II. BECOMING A WARRIOR MAGE
D. POWER PERCEPTION AND MAGICAL DEVICES

Cambrinth Items

As your skill increases, you will learn some important things as you focus on your magical devices:

the type of magic it contains (elemental, life, etc.),
the spellbook in which the spell resides (fire, water, etc.),
the name of the spell it contains,
the number of uses left in the rune, and
the width and brightness of the lines of power on the rune.

The thicker the lines are, the more energy CAN flow through it. The brighter the lines are, the more the energy IS flowing through it.

In conclusion, although both of these skills may seem challenging to master, the benefits and potential of each make them well worth the time and effort that a Warrior Mage puts into them. We do not know the full potential of these two skills but one day we may stand in awe of the mages whose skill in these areas opens new doors of possibilities to us.
