A WARRIOR MAGE E. ARMOR AND WEAPONS Weapons: There are many types of weapons: edged, blunt, pole, and ranged. Edged Weapons: Edged weapons have 4 subdivisions: light edged, medium edged, heavy edged, and two handed edged. Light Edged weapons are light weighted and usually small bladed, the size of a dagger or short sword, generally good for piercing, but some are good slicing weapons like the katar. Generally these weapons are very easy to swing and will not fatigue you badly. These are excellent weapons for Thieves and those with lower strength. Generally these weapons aren't very powerful, but in very skilled hands they can do some serious damage. Medium Edged weapons are a good mix of heavy and light, a bit heavier than light edged but not as heavy as the heavy edged swords. These weapons are good for either slicing or piercing, though most of them are slicing weapons. A good example of a medium edged weapon is a Hanger. Hangers are sturdy swords found far south in Steelclaw Clan. Medium edged weapons generally have a bit more oomph in their hits than light edged weapons. |
