Ederick Ederick was born on the twenty-second day of the first month of Akroeg the Ram in the
year of the Iron Toad, 340. While he was young, he lived in Theren Keep with his father, Erdrick Sterrekull, a Paladin
under the command of Sir Cleworth, and mother, Asolia Sterrekull, a local Empath in the area.
His father was an advisor to Sir Cleworth, and Ederick was able to learn much of the ways
of the Paladin's Guild from observing Cleworth and the Baron's knights. During his fifth birthday, his father told him
he would begin training him as a Paladin just as Ederick's grandfather did with his father. He quickly began training
against animals in the surrounding areas and began gaining some skill. By the time he was thirteen, the Sorrow Wars began. Erdrick being a high standing Paladin
in the guild, quickly began fighting against Sorrow's minions. He fought in countless battles, bringing honor to his
family, Guild, and to Therenegia. However after being saved many times by gaining the favor of the gods, he sacrificed
his own life to protect the empath's healing the wounded warriors on the battlefield. Ever since, Ederick has been set
on helping those in need, like his father before him. Even years after his father's death, Ederick was still being greatly influenced by stories
of his father, which were told to him by Sir Cleworth. As he approached eighteen, he was about to become a squire in the
Guild his father loved so much. He continued to fight in Therenegia until his mother, Asolia, was murdered by a local
thief demanding her to give him all of her money. When she refused, she was brutally beaten, and then she died. The pain brought on by the death of both Ederick's parents caused him to try to start
anew in Zoluren. He went to train under the guidance of Sir Darius in the Crossings Guildhall. He was new to the guild as
well; he had taken over for Sir Beren after Beren was dismissed after many years of faithful service. A few years after Ederick arrived in Zoluren, the Gorbesh began attacking again. Knowing he
was outmatched, instead of fighting he began dragging the dead and wounded to safety while the more skilled warriors drove
back the Gorbesh invaders. When the war ended, Ederick devoted his full concentration on training. Then it started again, Sorrow had attacked after many years of silence. Determined to avenge
his father, Ederick went into Sorrow's Reach to try to confront Sorrow himself. However the passageway into the keep was
block and he was barraged by vats of oil being spilled down upon him while he was nearing the keep. Ederick had to fight
back through Sorrow's minions to reach help to tend to his wounds and eventually did. As time passed Sorrow's own desire
for power turned into his own demise. He was annihilated by the Zaulfung Stones. Even though Ederick himself didn't get
revenge for his father's death, he was still pleased that no other lives would be taken by the madman. Soon after, he became a member of the Li Tumbra Mir, or the Iron Circle in common tongue.
He is still a member and now commands the Talaen rae li Mir, or Swords of the Circle in common tongue. |
