Keladra Letane Name: Keladra Letane Age: 22 Female Human Cleric Keladra was born to a large farming family some distance from Langenfirth in the year of the Amber Phoenix. She had several siblings, most notably a younger brother named Sharkran, who she was especially close with. The two of them showed an interest in the Gods and Clerics at a young age when a travelling cleric stopped at their farm for a night. He spoke to them about the Gods, and about being a cleric, when they expressed an interest, and afterwards the two always agreed that some day when they were old enough, they would go and do the work of the Gods as well. Sharkran, despite being younger, was the first to leave. He travelled to Crossing, while Keladra stayed behind. She wanted to go with him, but their mother's brief illness kept her busy picking up the slack in the household for a few months. She followed him to Crossing soon after, and joined the Cleric guild as well. Soon Sharkran had married a fellow cleric, and he left with his wife to establish a temple in the village nearest their home. Keladra is not a preachy cleric, although if somebody expresses an interest she can (and will) go on at length about the Gods and how to worship them. She has vowed never to marry, although she interprets that as an excuse to flirt with anybody she >wants, when the mood suits her. She has been known to have a few boyfriends following her along at the same time. She does not worship any specific God all the time, but does go through phases of focusing on one God for a few months and then moving on. She seems to avoid permanence in her worship as well as in her relationships. |
