Lilithshade

Lilithshade was born on the 21st day of the second month of Ka'len the Sea Drake in the year of the Crystal Snow. Her mother and father were happy, simple farmers. They lived on the outskirts of Leth Deriel. She had two siblings, Larq and Mayren. Larq was the oldest, Mayren the youngest.

On day Lili woke up with desires to know more about the world around her. She was tired of hiding among the trees, watching people pass on the Southern Trade Road. People she had never seen before... Humans, Dwarves, Halflings, Gor'Togs, S'kra Mur, and the Elothians. She made up her mind to leave her home... leaving a note under her mother's pillow she sneaked out to the STR. She met and followed a young Elothian named Matthic. When he reached the ferry he pointed her hiding place out and demanded she show herself. Creeping from the shadows, head bowed with fear, Lili made her first friend. Matthic took pity on her and paid her way onto the ferry. He showed her around the Crossing; bought her food and clothing, showed her all the guilds (well one they couldn't find without risking bodily harm).

After being in Crossing for almost 5 days and many debates, Matthic took Lili back to the ranger's guild for her to join. There she learned the art of survival, from foraging for food and herbs, to hiding and evasion. She also learned how to wield a sword to defend herself and others. When she hunted she skinned the creatures for the hides to sell at the tanner. She sometimes found money, gems or boxes on these creatures. These she traded for money.

Lili found the rangers to be loving and open to new members, she was given armor and weapons and taught to work her survival skills needed to live in the woods. She slowly progressed in her skills, earning circles at a steady pace. When Lili earned the title Wanderer, she headed back to her homeland to get her first companion... a baby raccoon. What a wonder! Lili would never be alone again; there would always be her coon to keep her company.

Lili named her first coon Brommy, loved and cared for her until she grew to adulthood. When Brommy was a baby Lili spent lots of time in the De Silveron topiary. It was a nice spot for tracking and foraging, close to hunting areas, and best of all out of city limits. (One night Lili was there with her friend Algion when Brommy looked at her and asked for oats instead of corn! This couldn't be happening, her raccoon was talking! It was a highlight of Lili's young life. Laughter rang through the topiary that eve!) If you see her... ask her about it. Now another Brommy follows Lili, only this one is much bigger. Brommy the wolf!

When you see Lilithshade on the streets of Crossing today, you will not only see a ranger... but a wife and mother. Wife of Gyar, mother to Elvyl (Mother to Yupa and Brom too, their furry kiddo's).
