Greetings and Salutation!
My story is not an overly exciting or interesting one, but I thank you for taking the time
to read it.
The oldest memory I can remember is the day Praise found me wandering the streets of the
Crossing. I was scared and confused, and alone. She gently took my hand and brought me in
off the street.
After some concerned questions about where my Mother might be and what had happened to me,
Praise concluded that my Mother had died of a disease. Apparently I had wandered out alone
after her death seeking help, and I had gotten lost.
Praise took me in and raised me. She fed me and clothed me and most of all, she loved me
as her own. When I became of age she took me around and introduced me to all the Guild
leaders.
I had some serious conversations with Kssarh and almost became a Moon Mage. Fortunately
Gauthus got a hold of me before I joined the Moonies. He showed me some impressive tricks
with fire and I was hooked! Gauthus showed me the ways of the runes he wore on his
fingers. He showed me how to manipulate the elements to do my will. How to bring a breeze
to refresh myself, to attack with not only fire but stone and even aether. He even taught
me how to protect myself from myself with a magical shield, which came in quite handy
thank you very much. When he felt I was ready he handed me a special cloak and unleashed
me unto the world! I was ready for anything.
Later in life I met a young Mage named Alexcz. He was a very handsome mage with glowing
eyes, shinny hair and a powerful aura. He swept me off my feet and we fell in love, and I
bore a child named Alysyn. She was the light of my life and looked exactly like me too!
Even though things between her father and I didn't work out, we still loved our Daughter
very much. She even decided to follow in our footsteps and went to study with Gauthus.
During her time with him, war struck. The gorbesh attacked and we all had to defend our
city. We were losing people left, right and center! I don't remember much about that war
except the blood that ran down the streets and the screams to be heard at all hours. I
lost my dear, sweet Alysyn in that war. She was too young to fight, but she loved her city
and couldn't bare to see it fall. She, like many others, gave her life so that we may
enjoy freedom now. I shall always love her.
My life since then has been mostly quiet. I continue to train within my guild and one day
who knows, maybe I'll settle down and start a family. |
