For days Tambert wandered through the sewers, drinking the water to stay alive, until he stumbled into the thieve’s guild.  Kalag took him into the guild, and he learned the ways of the thief, trying to stay alive.  Tambert still remembered where he had come from, and wanted desperately to go back.  But he had no clue how to get there from Crossing.  And so he learned the ways of Crossing, dating many women, making friends, and living. 

One day, a member of the clan recognized him, and brought him back before his father.   Tambert had no desire to behave like a Bone Elf by this time.  He traveled between his clan and Crossing, still keeping his ties to his father Sidhlot.  It was soon after this that Tambert learned of the Order of the White Rose.  He decided to join, and became a very active member.  Over time, he became a member of the council, and eventually the vice speaker. 

In recent years, Tambert was making one of his normal trips home, when he stepped in on a conversation between his fathers advisors.  It was then that he discovered the truth about himself.  He was not actually the son of Sidhlot.  In actuality, he was the son of members of the court.  Sidhlot had killed his parents and used Tambert as a decoy son, so that if anything happened, his actual son, who he kept in hiding, would not be the one killed.  Enraged, Tambert fled the clan.  He vowed to remain on the court in his parents place, but he claimed that he would never speak with Sidhlot again on his own accord. 

Tambert is a strong leader. He is also very fashion conscious, and vain.   He idolizes his hair.  He refuses to cut it, only to keep it trim.  It is his biggest pride.  When it comes to women, Tambert is insecure.  He has never had good luck with them, and doubts himself when it comes to becoming more than just friends.   He has a snobbish side, though it very rarely is seen.  Tambert is a fun loving Elf, who loves a good joke, but also knows when to be serious, and can be very serious.
