Theala Gethsymany

Hi there, my name is Theala Gethsymany. I would like to tell you the tale of my adventures in finding Elanthia. It all started when was a wee little girl. I lived in the village Loraine. My mother was a moon mage. MY father was a drunken bard. I remember he used to sit in the tavern and drink all is gut could hold. Then he would come home and plat endless music until he fell asleep. Sometimes I wondered if drinking was what he lived for. One day my mother had a vision of an invasion to come to our village. She went to the town priest with her vision and was tried before the Arch Bishop as a heretic. She was burned to death in town square.

My mother's visions came to past and the village was destroyed. My brother Kwasind and I hid and watched from the safety of the shadows while it happened. We watched in horror as our Father was slain before our eyes. I remember the pain I felt to this day. When all was said and done, We fled from our village in search of a better life. We walked for days on end until we came to an ogre village. They were a barbaric race and my brother quickly caught on to their way of life. They made us work very hard. Gathering grain and wood for firs and bow making. We lived in the village among the ogres for a few years, until we decided that this wasn't where we wanted to live out our lives. And so we left in search of something better.

My brother and I searched for what seemed to be an eternity and a day, until one day we noticed a vast city at the horizon. We proceeded to our new found destination with the swiftness of a wild cat, the hills and woods could not hold us from our destination until we finally came to the town known as Crossing. Kwasind immediately joined the barbarian guild. I wandered around the town until I came upon the moon mage guild. Trying to follow in my mother's footsteps I lived in the moon mage guild for some time and finally realized it wasn't my calling. I observed the city longer and came upon the paladin guild. I walked inside and looked around. Something was calling me here. I went and spoke with the guild leader Darius. When he told me about the guild and the life of the paladin , I knew immediately that this was the life I was looking for. As a maiden of the Paladin guild, I will travel the lands and rid Elanthia of all the monstrosities which will remove all hope and optimism, from our once faithful Utopia, the boundless greed and corruption, and senseless chaos will be crushed under my grasp and those of my guild to bring happiness the souls of it's population. What awaits me now? Only destiny can decide that. For now I'll just have to live life day by day.
