Lorekeeper's Parade

Lady Titaniia's group just arrived.

Titaniia arrives with her sabre held high, leading three Wehnimer's Guardsmen carrying a colorful silken banner which flutters in the wind and reads, "Parade of Colors". )

Titaniia raises her mithril-etched sabre in triumph!

Titaniia recites:

"ATTENTION !"

Saberwolv snaps smartly to attention!

Ourac snaps smartly to attention!

Tilarium snaps smartly to attention!

Briell says, "I so do a love a parade"

Briell places his hand on his giantman mead.

Titaniia recites:

"PRESENT ARMS !"

Tilarium spins his rune-covered broadsword around his right forearm, then passes it to his left without grasping it or stopping the spin, then passes it back to his right arm. Each spin causing a crisp "whoosh," Tilarium brings it back to bear in his right hand.

(Saberwolv spins his falchion around his forearm, then passes it to his left without grasping it or stopping the spin, then passes it back to his right arm. He spins it once more until he grasps the falchion by its handle.)

Ourac spins his grey axe around his right forearm, then passes it to his left without grasping it or stopping the spin, then passes it back to his right arm. Each spin causing a crisp "whoosh," Ourac brings it back to bear in his right hand.

Tilarium tosses his rune-covered broadsword in the air, sending it into a spiraling blur. At the perfect moment, he snatches it competently by the handle.

(Titaniia and the military men march perfectly in place, eyes straight ahead.)

Kyshia just arrived.

Kyshia removes a handful of multi-colored confetti from in her patchwork cloak.

(Titaniia and the group march in place, raising their knees to a high-step.)

Titaniia recites:

"COMPANY MARCH !"

(Saberwolv begins a smart high step.)

Kystara begins chuckling at Briell.

Kyshia offers Mogalogs a handful of multi-colored confetti.

(Titaniia and the Guardsmen stare perfectly ahead, some of them surpressing obvious smiles.)

Mogalogs says, "Thanks"

Innigo whistles tunelessly to himself.

Kyshia waves to Titaniia.

Kyshia just went north.

Mogalogs put a handful of multi-colored confetti in his hooded cape.

(Titaniia and the Guardsmen march in place with stone faces, eyes turned forward. Finally, as if having been signaled, they move forward in unison.)

Lady Lavinnia's group just arrived.

Lady Titaniia's group just went east.

Lavinnia smiles as the magnificent Lorekeeper's float, covered top to bottom with flowers of all colors, creating an illusion of scrolls and tomes of various sizes and colors pulls into view. The front scroll is scribed with the words 'The Lorekeepers Present: The Parade of Colors!' in roses tinged with gold dust.

Briell's group just went east.

Shadoedove smiles as she dances towards you...wiggling a finger at you....mesmerized, you follow her undulating body down the road.

Hornstag bounces around happily.

Lavinnia smiles and waves.

Shadoedove smiles seductively, her taut belly muscles rippling as she undulates...her lithe arms rise up and wave you closer, enticing you to follow her and join the parade

Lavinnia smiles as she gazes at the wondrous Lorekeeper float, covered in flowers of all kinds and colors. The stand the Elder is standing upon is made of tomes, laid on their sides. The top tome says 'History of the Ur-Daemon Wars'. It looks like the bottom one says 'How to Host a Parade'.

Shadoedove throws a handful of confetti up into the air, and it floats down in a cloud all over the area!

Ballital rubs his chin thoughtfully.

Lavinnia smiles.

(Shadoedove shimmies her way over to the crowd, enticing them to come closer)

Lavinnia smiles when she notices that the Lorekeeper's float is hovering above the ground, and realizes that it must be some kind of magic that holds the huge red, blue, green and yellow scrolls and tomes in the air.

Shadoedove waves.

Ballital waves.

Shadoedove smiles as she dances nearer to You, offering You the end of the veil about her waist with a flick of her hand and hip. She smiles, winking at You as You grasp it, then she spins away, the silken veil unwinding about her waist, slithering free from her body to flutter to the ground at Your feet. She dances away, silken hair flaring out in soft shimmering waves of silver.

(Shadoedove whirls about, her veils whispering softly as she dances her way down the street)

Lavinnia smiles and waves at the crowds.

Lavinnia smiles and runs alongside the Lorekeeper float. She tries to keep up with the jesters who hold onto the golden ropes tied to the float, as they run along pulling the float thru the crowded street.

(Lavinnia reads a few more of the scroll titles, written in gold dusted leaves. The bright red is titled 'Step by Step to Becoming a Lorekeeper'. The brilliant blue one reads 'There is Life After the Turnip Farm'. A sunshine yellow one says 'Stories for All Ages'. The deep purple one looks like something is written on it, but the writing is illegible.)

Kyshia just arrived.

Lavinnia smiles and waves.

Kieliah smiles as she backflips her way down the street, happily leading the House Brigatta assembly.

Psionix smiles as he proudly marches in the Brigatta Group behind Kieliah . Psionix stops right in front of you and takes off his wizard's hat to perform a magic trick just for you! Psionix moves his hands back and forth mysteriously over his wizard's hat. Psionix shows you that there is nothing up his sleeve! Psionix raise his hat! Psionix shows you the inside of his hat to show you there is nothing in there.

Kieliah chuckles.

A column of air whirls about Psionix, blowing his hair wildly in all directions.

Seesfar smiles as he rides in proudly on a lovely black stallion and carrying a large flag bearing the House of Brigatta coat-of-arms. His beautiful pet, a white wolf, saunters near him wearing a blanket bearing the house colors of white and blue. A few dozen Brigattans follow behind him on horseback in an orderly fashion, their horses tails and manes gaily braided with bright ribbons.

(Chatoyant follows Seesfar on horseback and glances behind her to observe a pack of proud Brigattans on horseback who are pulling a cleverly crafted unicorn float that consists of a fel frame which has been filled in and covered with various colored carnations.)

Torrmar removes a handful of multi-colored confetti from in his sorcerer's cloak.

Luky smiles from her position on top of the Brigatta unicorn float as she waves a banner in one hand bearing Brigatta's motto: Amici Per Aevum. With her other hand she raises a huge mug of ale to salute the onlookers.

Psionix recites:

"Brigatta! Brigatta! Brigatta! "

Kieliah exclaims, "Brigatta!"

(Torrmar follows behind the Brigatta unicorn float on a midnight black steed, his cloak flowing in the wind, other Brigattans dressed as clowns at his flank. They merrily toot some horns every few seconds and display some silly acrobatic behavior at Torrmar's gesture.)

Kieliah throws her head back and howls!

Nathlar exclaims, "Brigatta!"

Torrmar waves a braided wolverine-hair whip around.

Chatoyant smiles from atop her prancing white horse and waves to crowd.

Seesfar smiles slightly as his stallion rares up on its hind legs and he salutes the crowd with the flag

Torrmar yells, "Brigatta!!"

Nathlar throws his head back and howls!

Psionix exclaims, "Brigatta!"

Kieliah smiles as she does some strange looking cartwheels. (Where those really Cartwheels?)

Chatoyant throws a handful of confetti up into the air, and it floats down in a cloud all over the area!

You hear Thia yell, "Aspis!"

Kieliah yells, "Brigatta! Brigatta!"

Torrmar turns towards Kieliah and renders a sharp salute with his multi-colored confetti.

Luky yells, "Brigatta!"

Chatoyant removes a handful of multi-colored confetti from in her crystal-covered pouch.

Kieliah throws her head back and howls!

You hear Aurien yell, "Aspis!"

Kieliah smirks.

Seesfar grins.

Torrmar gestures and utters a phrase of magic.

You hear Thia yell, "Silver Dragons!"

You hear Luky yell, "Brigatta Brigatta!!"

Thia's group just arrived.

Emeraldwand just went east.

(Thia greets you with a radiant smile from atop the dragon of the House of the Argent Aspis Float as it moves along the street, frost and ice exploding spectacularly into a fine, sparkling mist. An iridescent rainbow arcs over the heads of Elanthians, watching from the sidelines. Steam erupts from the mouth of the dragon swirling in the wind, letting the sun strike the metallic scales in a ripple of a prismatic display of colors. This is the Silver Dragon at her finest!)

Aurien winks at you.

Aurien says, "hiya red"

Aurien makes a rude suggestion, and you give him a firm punch.

Thia throws her head back and howls!

Thia smiles broadly as she waves at the crowd. The members of Aspis toss out silver beaded necklaces from their positions as the dragon sways her head back and forth. Others walk along side the float, laughing and dancing, their costumes a colorful accent to the glinting silver scales.

Devo waves to Thia.

Thia waves to Devo.

Aurien yells, "Aspis Rules!"

Devo chuckles.

(Thia climbs down off the dragon and draws Devo into her arms.)

Thia smacks her lips.

Thia just gave Devo a smooch.

Thia throws her head back and howls!

Devo swoons.

Aurien throws his head back and howls!

Aurien just tried to pull Thia towards him!

You hear Psionix yell, "Brigatta! Brigatta! Brigatta! "

You hear Luky yell, "Hail Brigatta!"

You hear Kieliah yell, "Brigatta Brigatta!"

Devo thrashes around on the ground.

(Thia makes her way back up the silver scales.)

Thia throws her head back and howls!

You hear Torrmar yell, "Brigatta!!"

Aurien yells, "What IS that thing Brigatta rides? Looks like a Duck!"

Thia smiles and waves at you. Suddenly, the beast stretches her neck long, mouth gaping and with a mighty roar, fire spews forth - a long trail of flames arcing over your heads!

Devo chuckles.

Aurien exclaims, "whoa!!"

You hear Luky yell, "Aurien you blind fool! Tis a unicorn!"

Thia yells, "HAIL ASPIS!"

Kyshia just arrived.

(Aurien Pulls his head back, even more of his eyebrows missing..)

Kyshia waves to Thia.

Kyshia just went north.

(Thia points at you and waves. The long shiny tail of the Silver Dragon swings back and forth, trailing behind the float, just barely missing a few people along the side of the street. Members of Aspis dodge the motion, laugh at the startled looks, and toss out handfuls of silver confetti, showering you with sparkles and leaving a glittering path behind them as the entourage moves down the street.)

Thia waves.

Siara's group just arrived.

You hear Psionix yell, "One hailstorm on Aspis coming up"

Antalya yells, "All hail to the Sea Queen!"

(Penstar waves a sea fan at herself languidly)

Siara smiles sheepishly as she struggles to keep the sportive team of Sea Thraks under control. They frisk and play in the ten foot standing wave of water that washes along the parade route. Their brass and silver harnesses sparkle in the sunshine, and they pull the large blue coral island float behind them seemingly without effort. Across the front of the float, beneath Siara's feet, is a large banner with lettering of sea foam that reads: "The Coven Sisters present: The Magic of the Sea."

(Aelphaba is seated atop a large pile of sparkling corals and pearls, rare shells and trinkets, coins and treasures from shipwrecks, the riches of the waters. In a loud, resounding voice, she makes her announcement.)

Devo applauds.

(Immith stares in amazement at the float of nymphs and their beautiful sea queen!)

Aelphaba recites:

"My Lords and Ladies,

My Sisters and I invite you

To join in the Parade

And the Costume Ball that follows."

Immith gazes in awe at Desmonique.

Damaina dances around the room to music only she can hear.

(Shareil giggles as she playfully splashes about with her sisters amidst the rippling waves. She whispers a seductive song.)

Aelphaba recites:

"Join the nymphs and mermaids,

The sirens and nereids and naiads,

And most of all our mistress,

The Queen of the Sea herself!

Dance and sing and laugh with us,

Celebrate as we rejoice

In the magic and beauty that is the sea!"

Immith beams happily at Aelphaba!

(Desmonique winks and raises the hem of her robes just a tad higher)

Penstar smiles beckoningly at the crowd, gesturing to them to follow her

Aelphaba just kissed Roelon.

Damaina covers her eyes with her hands.

Saphyne throws a handful of confetti up into the air, and it floats down in a cloud around Arianlynn!

Immith says, "Sea queen."

Immith points at Saphyne.

Saphyne smiles and waves to the crowd as she reclines on a large clamshell throne, the air around her sparkling in shades of sea blue and foam green. The Sea Queen's hair floats about her face in a billowing cloud, as if stirred by slow, gentle, unseen sea currents, and her silken gown flows to her feet in a waterfall cascade. The trident that she holds emits a soft golden aura and her sapphire and coral crown glitters in the sun. The wave that supports the float seems to dance and sway in response to the quiet, ethereal song that drifts from her lips.

Damaina covers her eyes with her hands.

Kailoma nods to Panthara.

Eratika exclaims, "I see her!"

Dellenne says, "so pretty"

Dawny bounces around happily.

Cassioppia whistles tunelessly to herself.

(Eratika waves at the Coven's beautiful Sea Queen!)

Cassioppia slings a giant clamshell shield off from over her shoulder.

Lemandria smiles aluringly as she leans far over the back of the float. She winks at you and begins a jaunty ditty:

About how you can reach paradise?

Ask a maid of the sea,

For a slow dance with thee.

And if you're bold you can dance with her twice!"

Desmonique smiles at Damaina.

You hear Antalya yell, "All hail to the beautiful Sea Queen!"

Lady Ylena's group just arrived.

Ylena smiles radiantly, striding confidently down the street. She is followed by seventy-six burly men, marching side by side, clad in tight gleaming white leather. Some of them are carrying large drums, but most hold shining horns.

(Sorchia waves and winks at the crowd)

Sorchia smiles and strews a handful of confetti up into the air, letting it fall and be picked up by a light breeze.

(Ylena stops and whirls, her sequins glittering in the light. The marching band halts, marking time.)

(Sorchia reaches her hand into her diamond-dusted sack and lightly tosses a handful of multi-colored confetti towards the crowd)

"Lords and Ladies, boys and girls, music lovers of all ages!"

(Ylena raises her arms dramatically, gesturing at the assembled band in front of her.)

Sorchia smiles and reaches her hand into her sack, pulling out a colorful handful of confetti and gaily tossing it into the air. You are surrounded by colors as it falls down around you.

Ylena recites:

"The Elanthian Drum and Horn Corps!"

Ylena recites:

"Ready, boys! One - Two - Three - Four!"

Ylena taps the tip of her witchwood staff on the ground.

(Sorchia gracefully weaves her way in and out of the marching band, clapping her hands in time with the music!)

(Ylena raises her staff high above her head and twirls it dramatically! Upon her signal, the band begins to perform a close-order marching drill. The drums pound dramatically, echoing off the nearby buildings.)

Sorchia smiles and laughs as she walks down the street, the band playing merrily behind her. She turns to wave to the crowds of happy folks along side.

Ylena smiles happily as the horn players snap their instruments to their lips and begin to blare out a stirring war song. The lines of musicians zigzag through the street, passing perilously close to one another, yet managing to refrain from colliding bodies or instruments.

Sorchia smiles as a drummer drops his stick. Without missing a beat, Sorchia snatches it up and hands it to him with a wink.

Ylena smiles radiantly as she strides down the street and out of sight, followed by her charges.

Lorekeeper Piriotessa's group just arrived.

(Panndoris shudders at the sound of loud roars and occasional chirps as the structure passes. )

(Munins does a handstand on the lion forgeting he's in a dress showing his pokadot boxers )

Guwain smiles while Closing his eyes and murmering what seems to be, "I can, I can, I can" He throws the first cuddly animal high into the air. Listening to the almost silent horde of onlookers he gazes up seemingly waiting for the perfect moment before tossing the second harmless critter into the air and soon after the third.

(Panndoris shows off the float. Its base is lined with a frazzled green, grassy design of streamers rimmed with flowers. Animals and many trees are spread throughout the float giving it the most wild and dangerous)

(Alex jumps up and down throwing his hands up in the air dancing and flailing his arms about like a silly jester trying to make you laugh!)

(Guwain watches the cute animals yelp in terror through the air, light flickering brightly off of there collars them making you squint as they twirl through the air, you think somebodies pets?)

(Munins falls off the lion and stumbles slipping on a banana peal muttering about the monkey)

(Guwain sees the first furball as it reaches his hand and he catches it by the ear, tossing it up and beginning to walk along side the float. Beeds of sweat trickle down the sides of his face as he concentrates on his juggling. )

(Gilgis begins to toss his three red balls into the air and slowly juggle them.)

(Alex accedently falls on his face while dancing and flailing)

(Munins dances across the float with the monkey)

Guwain dances around the room to music only he can hear.

Guwain smiles and blows kisses to the ladies!

(Guwain smiles as he grabs a few innocent animals off the float, He tosses each in the air to juggle...oops they never came back down!)

Guwain slaps himself on the forehead.

(Panndoris flails his arm about and does the can-can!)

Guwain smiles at the crowd quickly, hoping they dont realize what happened.

(Alex rolls around on the ground throwing confetti alover the place)

Panndoris begins chuckling at Evangalea.

Alex throws a handful of confetti up into the air, and it floats down in a cloud all over the area!

(Guwain bows to each side deeply, you gasp as his skirt rides to high and he forgot to wear his underwear!)

(Piriotessa waves to the crowd an hopes everyone enjoyed watching the House of silvergate's jungle float..and hopes to see everyone at the ball!)

Cezzane says, "Do the can can can"

(Gilgis loses control of a ball! It goes flying into the air and hits Alex on the head! Gilgis runs over and grabs the ball apologizing profusely to Alex.)

(Panndoris whispers down to Cezzane loudly, "This is great". Piriotessa playfully makes the lion roar and bear its teeth to the crowd before waving it about again and smiling brightly. )
