I present this to ya’s as an aide in locatin’ the herbs ya seek. There be many places the plants be found, I’s jess pointin’ ya’s in the direction of a few o’ them. Ya gots any troubles understandin’ me writen’ ya’s jess looks me up when I’s abouts an’ I’ll tries ta point ya’s in the right direction. There be lots more to foragin’ than jes’ prunin’ an’ diggin’. Always take care in respectin’ the plant ya’s takin’ from, and caution to not disturb the other plants and roots in the area when ya’s diggin’. Tis a good practice to use a well honed knife when makin’ ya cuttin’s and always pack the wounds with a good lichen paste to keep th’ bugs out.

Acantha Leaf:
Acantha Leaf grows jess about anywhere from the moist to the desertlike
places. When ya’s goes out the gates o’ the Landin’ head yaself in a noreasterly
way tills ya’s pass on ol’ fence. When ya hears the waters o’ the Bay lappin’
at ya heels ya be in the area of the leaf.
Yabathilium Fruit:
Yabathilium trees grow near the bodies of water that has salt in em’.
When ya’s outside the gates o’ the Landin’ point yaself to where the bay
water meets the sand and ya be in the right place fer foragin’. Ya can
also find this tree growin’ further to the norwest o’ the township if ya’s
nae too much o’ a hermit. From the township head yaself over the Merchants
Road and down an ankle breakin’ path then look for where the children must
o’ been playin’, ya’s finds ya fruit there.
Ephlox Moss:
Ephlox moss be a fungus that grow where it be shady and damp. From
the Landin’ ya goes southerly till ya’s hits the split in ya’s path then
ya’s crosses a bridge. From the bridge ya’s just follow the Locksmehr a
bit then ya be in the place fer the moss. Another place fer the moss be
way down south o’ the Landin’ in the foothills o’ the Trollfangs. Ya jess
head southerly a bit and before ya begin goin’ to the north agin’ ya be
in the right spot.
Torban Leaf:
Ya gots ta be careful when foragin’ fer the leaf o’ this tree that
they are ripe and ya’s donts over pick. The Torban tree be grown’ most
places around that the climate be bearable. Jess outside the Landin’ there
be a big ol’ manor that be a respite fer the weary elders. Ya’s do some
snoopin’ aroud the manor and ya’s finds ya leaf. Ya’s can also finds the
leaf on the isle where the white deer roams.
Red Nettle Berries:
Ya’s gots ta watch out fer this berry bush, ‘tis covered in some vera
nasty thorns that be makin’ ya’s wish ya’d found that ephlox moss I was
speakin’ of a bit earlier. Only place I’s knows in the world fer this one
be in that ol’ run down castle that belonged to Terate. Ya’s gots
ta head ya’s way through there tills ya’s gets to the garden area and then
ya’s finds the berries.
Sovyn Clove:
This be no clove really but the dried out flowers of the sovyn bush.
The bush grows where the sun shines hot. To find the sovyn bush ya’s gots
to heads south o’ the Landin’ a good long ways till ya’s has to go to the
east a bits then north. Ya’s gots to do some searchin’ and ya be pullin’
twigs from ya hair but once ya get past the bushes ya start lookin’ aroun’
and ya’s finds it jess fine.
Pothinir Grass:
The pothinir grass likes the hot sunshine lots. From the Landin’ ya’s
heads out the ol’ Mine Road a ways tills ya sees the waters o’ the bay,
that be where ya finds the grass. Ya’s can also finds it in the ol’ graveyard
jess south o’ the township if ya’s heads over to where ya shoes be stickin’
in the mud. It also be found in the place where poor ol’ Mr. Galarn met
his demise.
Marallis Berries:
Ya’s gots to head fer the colder foothills and mountains fer this one.
‘Spose everyun’ knows o’ that big rock south o’ town, jess snoop aroun’
there a bits and ya finds it. Take caution when travellin' here for
these berries; some o' the more seedy denizens of the Landin' tend to congregate
in the area and the constable keeps a blind eye to the goings' ons.
Cactacae Spine:
This one likes it in the hot deserts. Ya’s just heads south a good
ways till ya cants go south no more. Then ya heads easterly and northerly
till yas sees an ol’ abandoned buildin’. Ya looks aroun’ that buildin’
a bits and ya finds what ya’s lookin’ fer.
Aloesas Stem:
This stem be from the Aloesas tree which be growin’ in the cold and
damp places. South o’ the town there be a mountain that has magics in it.
Ya’s head in the back way up the Locksmehr River like ya’s headin’ to that
magic mountain and ya’s finds the trees growin’ in along there.
Ambrominas Leaf:
The leaf o’ this bush can be found in the hills and grassy areas of
the countryside. Ya’s jess looks fer where the roltons been grazin’ and
ya finds the bushes nearby, iffn’ the roltons havent beaten ya to em’.
Cothinar Flower:
These powerful lil’ flowers like the cold and barren. Ya’s cans find
em’s where ya’s founds the sovyn’s or ya’s cans find em’s outside the Landin’
if yas jess heads westerly towards those ol’ brambles.
Haphip Root:
The root o’ this tree likes the hot damp climates. Ta find the
root ya’s gots to go south o’ the Landin’ and past the spiked gate. Then
ya’s heads to the valley that holds the headstone of the one who gave his
life protectin’ the freedoms o’ the steeds and mares. Ya finds ya root
growin’ there.
