OK, so you're at least a little curious about me, and that's a good thing. I'm probably just as curious about you! I'm Dave, and I'm glad to have you on my web space. I'm really just a guy who enjoys the simple things in life. OK, maybe I enjoy the more expensive things too, and there's not a damn thing wrong with that, but what the hell. I have a warped sense of humor, and I can be very sarcastic.
Until the end of May 1998, in real life I taught full time at Niagara County Community College in Western NY state, and can actually say I loved my job! Sure, they pay me, but not to say that. I actually do love teaching. I taught communications classes, both in speech and interpersonal and in media communications.
I'm married to one of the smartest people I know, and one of the few people on this planet whose brain works much like mine does. Her name is Kelley, and she's awesome!
I love Labrador retrievers, computers, science fiction/fantasy, loads of different types of music, with the noticeable exceptions of heavy metal and country. I read probably around 100 novels a year, and especially enjoy authors like Tom Clancy, Stephen King, Dean R. Koontz, Stephen R. Donaldson, Ann McCaffrey, David Eddings, and lots more.
I skydived once, which was really awesome! I enjoy whitewater rafting too.
