Gylwyn is the Moon Mage Guildmistress of Shard, and before that she acted as Guildmistress in the temporary shelter in Riverhaven, while the Guildhall of Guildmaster Tiv was closed due to flooding. Gylwyn is currently under investigation for treason to the High Council, as many of the Councillors believe she may have trained an outsider in the use of Moon Magic... Grell, a man forbidden by the High Council to learn the Guild's secrets. These doubts of her loyalty are furthered by her romantic relationship with Grell.
When Andraethu attempted to assassinate Guildmaster Prime Taramaine, he claimed the attack in the honor of Grell and Gylwyn. Both furiously deny any positive association with Andraethu.
