angenfirth

A military outpost in Therengia, Langenfirth is far down the North Road from the capital, Therenborough. Langenfirth is built against the Lake Gwenalion to fend off any attacks into Therengia. The forests are thick around Langenfirth, and so many Rangers prefer this area. The city didn't begin to grow until a monk named Langen built a brewary at the ford, and more shops, houses, and inns opened around it. Eventually a Ranger Guild was built in Langenfirth.
