Called many things, such as "The Redeemer" and "The Dragon", Lanival is more legend than reality. He defeated Teiro in the Resistance War, ending the rule of the Empire of the Seven Pointed Star, and myth accredits him with the defeat of the Dragon Empire. Our calendars even record that defeat as the Victory of Lanival. Legends surrounding the man say that he will reawaken when the world is in great peril, and he will help save us all.
Lanival was aided against Teiro by the dragons Glacis, Silduua, and Earayn. His two hands in battle were the warrior, Uthmor, and the wizard, Arhat. Both supposedly died of old age. Lanival is in a deep stasis sleep, or so the legends say.
