er'Kresh

Mer'kresh is a city floating in Torbis Sanhalas bay on the island of M'Riss. The city is made of four circles, each connected by bridges. The outer two circles are manmade, and separated by manmade cannals. The bridges are Tamris, Dajare, Sahra, Zirelga, and Nelyn. At the center of the city's innermost circle is the Carillon, a tall belltower surrounded by a large garden.

Both "Mer'Kresh" and "M'Riss" come from the Elven dialect Rissan. Many people of all races live in Mer'Kresh, as it has become somewhat important. One thing they are known for is the creation of a religious art called "origami," which has since gained popularity as an artform outside of religious celebration, as well.
