Ralel is apparently the leader of the L'Karm. Specifically, he is of an old family of Forest Elves that has lost most of its power. His identity was exposed by Gwindahl. Ralel is the L'Karm responsible for Gwindahl's abduction and subsequent control, and he later hired the "Demon," Daderil, to assassinate Gwindahl when Gwindahl broke free and exposed Ralel's identity. Ralel has been declared an outlaw and outcast by Queen Morganae, and was found guilty of treason by Special Envoy Haragil. Ralel is now being held prisoner by Lindryl.
