egoltha

The name of a bay and a river in central Zoluren. Both are critical for trade in the area, and with other provinces. Major battles of the Resistance War took place on the Segoltha. One was a confrontation between Lanival's field commander, Uthmor, and Teiro's armies along the shores of the Segoltha Bay. The other was a battle between the commander of the rebel fleet, Ka'len, and a traitor to Lanival, Targel, fought at the mouth of the bay. Ka'len had been ambushed by four Elven cutters and Targel's treachery, and his ship, the Dolefaren, sank beneath the waters of the Segoltha.
