Teiro was an officer in the Elven- Human War, and later became a respected politician. His wife was a member of the Elven Council. However, when the Elven Voice, and several Council members (including his wife) were killed, Teiro became quite distraught.

Nevertheless, he was chosen as the new Elven Voice, and his daughter Nissa took her mother's place on the Council. The Empire was crumbling all around them, and Teiro attempted to raise the Elven millitary power. Most of the Council members were assassinated when they protested this.

Teiro's goal was to conquer what remained of the Empire's lands, and place it all under Elven rule. His greatest opponent in this, what would later be called the Resistance War, was Lanival.

His daughter Nissa had escaped, and joined with the forces of Lanival. She served as an advisor. Near the end of the war, Teiro began losing several major battles, including both the Battle of the Segoltha, and the naval battle of the Segoltha Bay.

Teiro managed to capture Lanival, and planned on executing him, but Nissa offered up her own life instead, in order to save the rebel general. Teiro accepted her offer, and beheaded Nissa before Lanival's troops. The battle for Teiro's keep ensued.
