Wren is a bardess about whom much mystery exists. She aided the Clerics of the lands in restoring the shrines and altars that were destroyed, and seems to know a great deal more about the Gods than she, and everyone else, suspects. Wren seems to have a special link to Faenella, the Goddess of Music, among other things. When the army of the Gorbesh attacked, their General demanded Wren to be turned over. However, the Crossing refused, and so the city was sacked. Though the Crossing was later liberated, Wren was captured by the escaping Gorbesh.
It has been revealed by the elf Rianalee that Wren is now free, and her pyi-pya has been found, though it is very damaged. Wren is believed to be communicating, barely, to the Bards, through the chamber where the Lute of Faenella and Peri'el was once held.
