Intelligent Alternatives to Magic for First Aid Practice by Alzbar Raizonglin (Crossing, Zoluren: 146 Shorka 364)A Graceful Elf with Enters the tavern with a horrid look on his face as if hed seen something horrible take place. Dressed in simple light chain armor and cobalt blue cloak he takes a seat quietly at the bar and orders a flagon of Death Spirit Grog and a shot of Granny's #9. Baresh notices the down look upon the Elf's face and pours him the grog and a double shot of the whiskey and places them in front of the elf. Always one to lend an ear to those with burdens on their mind he looks to the elf with a concerned look and says, "Whats wrong kind elf? Ya seem to have witnessed something terrible and we Tavern keepers always have been known to lend an ear..." The elf quickly downs the shot and guzzles the grog and orders another, smiling at Baresh he says, "Names Alzbar, Baresh pleased to meet you. I just wonder why someone would want someone to Cast a damaging spell at someone for something so simple as a bleeder. I've seen horrid things happen to those only wanting to learn the art of first aid, arms blown off legs dismembered, even severe fines given for assault cause they forgot to issue a challenge first." Baresh cringes at the thought of seeing someones arm fly by and nods to the elf and says "Aye I know how you feel, Ive seen it done afore and it isnt a pretty sight..." The elf looks up with a smile in his eye and says "Now if ya could only spread the word for me baresh I have a small bit of advice maybe you could pass along, nothing spectacular mind you but I know of a safer way to get a bleeder... theres a little place most know of in the crossing called Falkens Tannery, I know it sounds crazy but all one needs to do is take a friend there and steal from them in the shadows in the tannery, mind you not from the Tannery or Falken but a friend.... and a lil ole hafling woman will come out and bash you up pretty good if not one of Falkens employees will handle it. Theres no fines nor repurcussions other that a little pain and mebbe gettin yer lights put out for a moment or two but ya can't be killed or dismembered though It may take once or twice to have it happen." Baresh smiles at the elf and nods and says "Tis fine advice friend-elf I shall pass it along to those who would listen." Alzbar looks over his shoulder at a spiny turtle who wanders in the tavern and smiles and says "My son looks for me I must go most with most haste," and quickly hurries out the door leaving an empty tankard spinning around on the bar. Baresh smiles and takes the shotglass and tankard and places them behind the bar muttering about everyone being in a hurry nowadays and dismisses the small tab the elf had left considering the advice considers it even, suddenly he notices a fuzzy rabbit standing on the bar that drops a large amethyst on the bar and says "From my master Alzbar Kind Baresh for he was truly in haste he has sent me to cover his tab." Baresh smiles at the rabbit and slips the amethyst away without a thought and pets the rabbit and says "Merauds Blessings to the young Mage" and quickly shushes it out of the tavern smiling and goes back to his other customers.
