Empath Seeks an End to Senseless Violence by Dreamglow Starrytouch (Crossing, Zoluren: 136 Shorka 364)I am writing this article because I care about the direction the Realms are taking. It seems that everywhere I turn nowadays, senseless violence has taken place. And all too often, innocent people are caught in the middle of such happenings. Today, the 136th day in the 364th year after Lanival's victory, I was murdered by someone who had no better reason to do so than that he did not like the way I behave, and that he thought my name was stupid. My parents rolled in thier own graves, I'm sure. Even though this was unfair and a complete outrage to me and all people, I seek not revenge, but to stop this horrid cycle of violence. I would rather help ease the pain of my fellow people than inflict any, directly or indirectly, no matter how much they may deserve it; this is why I am an Empath. I would like to call all people, big and little, powerful and weak, to help stop the cycle. I know how painful it is to have a cruel act inflicted upon you, but revenge is no solution to this problem, no matter how tempting it is. I would also like to call anyone who has commited a cruel act towards a fellow adventurer to think about what they have done. I do not know what you seek from these abominable actions, but I am sure it could be attained in other ways. If you are searching for attention, you have it. I salute you for being a horrible person. I hope you are very happy. I pray for you, that you may realize the true consequences of your bad choices, and hope that you may choose better ones in the future. If this article helps one single solitary soul to become a better person, or even one soul to simply consider a better path of life, then I have succeeded. I thank you all for listening to my thoughts. To the person who killed me, you know who you are: I forgive you, and I'm still waiting for that 10 plat.
