Listen me out now. First of all, there are the fortresses. They are not destroyed, but abandoned as they were between Red Winter and Sorrow Spring. Second, the Velver invasion. If you remember, the Gorbesh made much use of undead to do their dirty work, like stealing the chalice. Has anyone else suspected that the Velvers are scouting the Crossing for an attack and scaring the populace? Well, I'd better go 'afore the Town Guard finds me. Ruffian Kriath Dissek, Teef
