Submitted: 9 September 2000 The Dihaltus by A Young Ranger (Crossing, Zoluren: 264 Moliko 362)As I was ambling out of the Jadewater mansion for my first time I came across a man who was wearing many different things that I thought may have not existed. But as I stopped to look at him he noticed my staring eyes. "Hello" he said. I couldn't say anything for I thought he might kill me. "You look as if you are new to these lands," he said sharply with an Ilithic accent, "May I help you?" he continued. I blaintly stuttered out, "y y yes..." "Ok then, My name is Diahltus Neech. Do you have a guild yet?" he asked. "No" I said. "Well then I think we better get you one then." He took me off to the ranger's guild and suggested that I join it. Well I did. He then told me of the rangers oath and took me all over the crossing helping me buy things and showing me around. Then he took me hunting and showed me the basics of the skill. He then left me and dissapeared into the darkness. I ambled my way back to the ranger guild and caught the words That Dihaltus, I hope our warriors destroy him and Sorrow. I began to give my comments on him telling everyone that he was nice and helpful bu everyone insisted that he was one of the most evil persons in the realms. I just thought that everyone should know that Dihaltus Neech is a good person and that he should not be harmed.
