Submitted: 27 April 1999 Response for Jacinda by Jarvas Alaronde (Crossing, Zoluren: 261 Moliko 357)Jarvas gives a grin, shaking his head. "Jacinda, Jacinda, Jacinda.. not telling the whole story, I see. Tisk Tisk.. well perhaps I should enlighten you folks to the whole story." He clears his throat, and begins talking. "First of all, while I was speaking with another friend in the Library of the Thieves guild when I first saw Jacinda. She was a bit flirtatious, I did notice that straight off. Second off, most of our conversation that wouuld ensue was between myself and her, nobody else. We were whispering at each other." "After I had finished talking to my friend, I returned to the Haven and went about my business. After a few moments, Jacinda approached me and asked if it was safe to "read books" again, as that was the excuse she'd given for coming into the Library. I replied that it was, and after a few silent moments she asked ME if I would like to join her." "Now, I'll admit I do get a bit flirtatious at times. That's a given, and almost anyone who knows me personally knows that. With that in mind, I'll continue." He shakes his hair aside, and begins again. "After she asked me if I would like to join her, I figured she was simply being a bit.. friendly, I suppose. I declined, and after a few moments she asked why not. I told her that I wasn't exactly into reading in my spare time." "After I said that, she began to flirt a bit more, once in asking 'Well then, what exactly do you do in your spare time?' All I did was grin at her and chuckle to myself. Now, being the flirt I am, I said, 'whatever suits the mood.'" "When I said that I didn't have any plans of cheating on Tatiyana, who I am currently seeing. It would be later on that I would find out that *that*, Jacinda, was in fact what you were trying to get me to do." "After a few more begs from you, Jacinda, to get me to accompany you to the Library, I took you by the hand and drug you to the front of Hark's. I simply stated "No more whispering, what do you want?" "What you said next had me rather.. stunned. The only word you spoke in response was "You." I just chuckled to myself, and decided to play it by ear. All this time though, I was in contact with Tatiyana, and was giving her the details of the conversation." "After I mentioned that I was already seeing someone, and yes I did give Tatiyana's name, Jacinda quickly responded by saying, "What, that whore? You her man for this week?" or something close to those lines. Again, I just laughed." "What she said next just plain floored me. In a whisper, she said basically told me that if I didn't sleep with her, she would convince Tatiyana that I had in one way or another. That is when I told her that I was informing Tatiyana of what she was saying, word for word." "After a few more rather.. lewd sexual comments, Tatiyana later told me that she had been listening in to the conversation for the last fifteen minutes of it. Afterwards, after Jacinda began to basically fondle me without any consent from me, Tatiyana did shoot her." With a quiet sigh and a nod, he takes a small drink of water then continues. "After that night, Jacinda did depart. The next night, as I expected she would, she returned. Only to be more up front about her apparent lust for me, but this time Tatiyana was present for the entire conversation." "Jacinda began babbling something about me having taken her to Tatiyana's cabin after Tati had gone to sleep for the evening. Now this was a blatent lie, and I knew it. I'd never laid a finger on her, nor had I wanted to." "After finally apparently giving up on me due to my shunning of her after an extremely OOC comment, she began to work an another Thief who was present in the library, who will also remain anonymous." "He repeatedly asked her to stop, and she refused. He must've warned her at least a dozen times before he thumped her.." "After a few repelled advances on myself and the other thief present, she was killed again. I'll admit, I did it. But I didn't see any other way to get her to stop." "But she persisted, after shuns, thumps, curses and even dying. Myself and the other male thief continued to ask her to stop, but she still refused, and was thumped again." "Now this is the part where I *know* I lost my temper, and yes I paid for it." "After she returned, I did draw my stiletto, and ended up killing her a "grand" total of five times in one night. I know it sounds extreme, and now I realize that it was far too much of a punishment, even for this. But my temper had snapped, and I paid the price for it with a nice holding cell." With an exhausted sigh, he nods. "That, my friends, is my recollection of things. There may be things I've forgotten, yes. If I remember them, I'll make sure I keep you all posted." With that, he turns, tossing his cloak behind him with one arm, and walks off. [Ed Note: Because Baresh repeated the names of the the accused in the initial article, the responses are allowed. I do not want to see this erupting any further, though.]
