Submitted: 25 June 2000 A Lot to do About Nothing by Track Darkshining (Steelclaw Clan, Ilithi: 359 Dolefaren 361)I have been monitoring the events and tales of Sorrow and Sirolarn for some time now. While everyone says that we must prepare, we must take action, follow me, etc., I disagree. Often times rumors and stories go around Elanthia, furthered by high-ranking members of certain guilds or whatnot, that hold little or no actual truth to them. I last remember the entire Wyett/Tiero situation. Do you recall that far back? I ask, what became of that? Nothing. The Moon Mages saw visions, Elves were recruited, crows flapped about. Where is Tiero now? Where is his huge 'army'? By that rationale, where is Sorrow now? Has anyone seen Sorrow? Are these once again rumors and heresay intended to spice up life and get adventurers of lesser rank than others to follow these high ranking guild members in their own army? In a time like this I urge everyone to use their heads, not imaginations, follow their hearts, not prophetic 'Warriors', and go about their business in the realms. I see no need to flock to Riverhaven to defend it. I assure you that is extreme and not neccesary. Go about your business and be happy. Thanks for listening and keep an open mind. |
