Eisen, Humble Servant of the Light, Protects Bard

by Pagius Burwick

(Crossing, Zoluren: 114 Shorka 358)

Eisen, an apprentice warrior mage and devoted practitioner of the Light, protected my humble self by proceeding to intercept a beligerent and quite mad halfling by the name of Luhky O'Charm. As he attempted to cause me bodily harm, Eisen dove in front of me, taking a well-aimed dagger in the chest, a single wound that later would prove to be fatal.

Wrenching the cursed dagger from the pulsating wound and drawing a dramatic penultimate breath, he grabbed Luhky by the nape of the neck, and punted him face first into the ground at the feet of our esteemed Crossing Guards. As Eisen wheezed a final, fervent prayer to Eluned, Luhky was hauled off to prison.

This selfless act has proven to me that there are still noble and just citizens in the realms. Eisen, never thinking of his own well-being, defender of the weak, oppressor of evil, and servant of the Light.

May all inhabitants of the realms learn from the mistakes of the unpure and follow in Eisen's illustrious footsteps.
