A Pethians Eyes

by A Prophet of G'nar-Peth

(The Provinces: 370 Nissa 362)

A strange elothean walks in, the most noticibly fact is that he wears a blindfold, which has slipped a little and ugly scars show slightly where his eyes, by all means, should below. He moves up to Baresh but declines any drinks.

"One may start with what a Pethian is. A Prophet of G'nar-Peth is a member of the MoonMage Guild. A founding Sect of the current Guild. Though few things are known about them, one thing has been common. Blindness." He smiles as his words echo with the strength of his personality, impressing them on Baresh.

"Many Prophets of G'nar-Peth are blind. Some are born that way, some go to odd ends to appear so. Some even cherish the pain in the removal in them. Some wish not to ever visit the pain of thier removal ever again."

The blindfolded mage tells Baresh. "To spite a Pethian, is to heal our eyes. Maybe this is better said as a warning, but it is this... I will, to the Sightless One's Sight, slay the one to heal a Prophet's eyes."

The mage reaches up and tightens his blindfold, smiling slightly, cryptically, walking out, as though his sight is unhampered. He moves once to avoid, and stop, an accident as someone attempts to break thier half full mug of ale to get a free one by cetching and righting it.
