An Ode To The Shards
by

"Ahem . . . . . . . . cough . . . cough"
When first me eyes laid eyes on dem crates.
Confusion set me still
Till I saw a puff of smoke arise
I know not where it fell
Den wit a rub and focus too
It saved me many a journey
I found meself in the Islands of Ratha
or standing in far away Aesry
I traveled far with many a gold
It delivered me from many a beast
No more will I smell da tang of it's smoke
No more will I rely on it's speed.
For now I sense da power's fade
And soon dey will be gone
It's back to travelin' da ways of old
By ferry, ship and barge
So I tank da gods, for this precious gift
And I pray by Merauds urn
Dat perhaps by will of the gods someday
Dose prescious Shards will return
Good-bye sweet Shards. I'll miss thee like the summers wind.
