Submitted: 7 March 1999 Alive! by Perinn Aybarran (Shard, Ilithi: 57 Ka'len 357)Well here's how it is. Me and me buddy Selthanos were huntin' up in the gargoyles area in the lair. Welp, we gets swarmed and we was handling until my buddy Selthanos went down. I took out 4 more until I ran for help. Then me and a paladin took out the other 6 or 7. There was a ton. No joke. We get em cleared and then we was all thrown out of the realm. When I gets back in I have experienced a massive time warp of maybe 1 Anlas. But my buddy who died didn't warp at all. So's I run up there and he's dead and I'm draggin when a garg pops out of nowhwere and kills me one hit, and I ain't no shabb in evasion. So's here I am dead and me buddy dead and were whinin' when all of a sudden... "A brilliant white light suddenly lanced out of the sky, bathing us in a brilliant glow. Selthanos was engulfed in a brilliant white glow. When it faded, he was alive!" And the same happened to me! We were alive and happy and full spirited though a little unsettled so we go back into the lair. It was quiet so we stuck around and then came a swarm of 6 beasts at once out of nowhere. Needless to say we took off. But all in all it was a massively weird night. I thank all the Gods and Goddesses for this miracle.
