ZITI BAKE |
| 1 - 16 oz. package of Ziti | 1 egg, slightly beaten |
| 1 - lb. ground beef | 3/4 tsp. salt |
| 1 - 15 oz. container ricotta | 1/4 tsp. pepper |
| 1/2 c. grated Parmesan Cheese | 1- 24 oz. or 29 oz. jar Spaghetti Sauce |
| 1/4 c. chopped parsley | 1 - 8 oz. package shredded mozzarella |
About one hour before serving: In large pot, prepare ziti as label directs, drain and set aside. In same pot over medium high heat, cook ground beef until well browned, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in ricotta, next 5 ingredients and half of the spaghetti sauce until well mixed. Add ziti and toss gently to coat well. Spoon mixture into 13" x 9" pan. Pour remaining spaghetti sauce evenly over ziti mixture. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350o oven for 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly. Makes 8 large servings.
