Every year at Christmas I make about 13 different types of cookies to give as gifts.
This is a new addition that has quickly become my daughters' favorite.
Cut them small--they're so rich!

Triple Tier Brownies
Brownie base for 9 x 13 pan (or use a box mix)
just under 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder 2 eggs
2 tbs. oil 1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter, melted 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt

Ingredients for Other Layers
1 package milk chocolate chips 3 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. peanut butter 1 can cream cheese frosting
(or homemade buttercream frosting)

Heat oven to 350° F. Prepare brownies, pour in greased 9 x 13 pan, bake 20  minutes or until done. (or if using a box mix, follow directions) Cool on wire rack. In large saucepan, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Cook over low heat 4-5 minutes or until blended, stirring occasionally. Stir in cereal, set aside. Spread frosting over brownies, then spread peanut butter mixture on top. Chill for 30 minutes or until set before cutting. Store in fridge. Yields about 5 dozen.
