These are some of my favourite bookmarks. If there are any that interest you, feel free to click on the highlighted words and away you go. I'll be updating this page as I come across new, interesting and silly sites. You may want to click on the "reload" button when you come back, in case I've updated the page since you were last here. 1. In no particular order, here are some neat sites:
   • THE SENIOR DOGS PROJECT - For any of you who have dogs, especially elderly dogs, this is a site you will want to bookmark. There is lots of good information on caring for older dogs and some wonderful, heartwarming stories about older dogs and their owners.

   • 7AM NEWS TICKER - You may have noticed the 7am News Ticker I have on my home page. This gives constant updated news stories from around the world. You can customize it somewhat to include local sites. This 7am News Ticker is free to add to your web page!

   • ZIPPO - OFFICIAL LIGHTER OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM - This is an incredible site and a wonderful example of how one can use web technology.

   • MYTHS AND LEGENDS - This is a great site for looking up all those myths and legends from around the world. This is a very comprehensive list!

   • SPAMCOP - Do you hate getting all that spam mail in your inbox? Now there's a place on the web where you can file a spam report and the SpamCop will track down where they spam mail originated, then send an email to that ISP.

   • TY- THE OFFICIAL HOME OF THE BEANIE BABIES - For us Beanie Baby collectors, this is Ty's official home page.

   • A MIRACLE PICTURE? - Go check out this picture and see what YOU see in it.

   • BBC NEWS - This is the home page of the BBC NEWS. If you have RealPlayer installed, then you can actually listen to the BBC News while you are computing. Just check out the News link.

   • CALENDAR WALLPAPER BY UNCLE DEBI - You have to go to this site to believe it! Every month, Debi puts up new creative Calendar Wallpapers that you can use on your desktop. They are gorgeous...and they are FREE!

   • THE DEATH CLOCK - For those of you who have a morbid (grin) sense of humour!

   • SOFINE'S FREE TOUCH A HEART CARDS - There are lots of "free cards" sites out there, and this is another great card site.

   • STEN LASSENS PAGE OF FUN AND HUMOUR - If you just want a smile or chuckle, then go visit Sten Lassen's page. Lots of jokes and just plain good fun here.

   • JOAN STARK'S ASCII ART GALLERY - For anyone who admires great ASCII art, then this is the site for you. I was blown away with how talented Joan Stark is. All her ASCII art is done freehand, not by a program!

   • FRANK SEVERA'S URLS - This is a great site with lots of neat and interesting URLs and web sites to visit. Frank updates his list every Sunday so be sure to bookmark this one.

   • THE WORLD AT OUR FINGERS - If you are interested in designing your own web pages, then this site is a good one to get help from. OllyOwl from Australia has done a great job with her page and she has some great web page help, files, graphics, etc.

   • THE DANCING INTERNET BABY - Ok, I confess, I STILL love the Dancing Internet Baby (grin). For anyone else who thinks he's great, check out this page for all kinds of sites about the dancing internet baby.

   • ANIMATION PAGE - Continuing with the Dancing Internet Baby, this is the Home of the Original Dancing Baby File.

   • THIS IS TRUE - THIS IS TRUE is a weekly syndicated newspaper column by humorist, Randy Cassingham. THIS IS TRUE reports on bizarre but true events from "legitimate" printed news sources from around the world. You can subscribe to a weekly email newsletter from this site, for those of us with warped senses of humour.

   • THE DARWIN AWARDS - The Darwin Awards are given, usually posthumously, to the individual(s) who remove themselves from the gene pool in the most spectacular way. These awards are hilarious!

   • THE KAT KAM - A live camera overlooking Burrard Street Bridge and English Bay. The camera is situated in one of the windows at the TSI office.

   • ENGLISHBAY.COM - Welcome to my neighbourhood! Seriously, this is a great site all about the West End in Vancouver...and it just happens to be where I live (grin)

   • INFO-MAC ARCHIVE - A neat file archive site for Macs.

   • MACWINDOWS - The web site for Macintosh-Windows Integration solutions.

   • MIRABILIS ICQ - This is not a new site for a lot of you, but if you don't have ICQ, you might want to hop right over there and download it. It is a fabulous program for instant messaging and chatting with your friends when they are online, no matter where they are on the internet. It comes in both PC and Mac flavours!

   • DAVE BARRY - a must-see web site for all of us Dave Barry humorist fans.

   • SIXDEGREES - a wonderful site for networking with friends. This site is based on the concept that everyone on earth is connected to everyone else through a path of six people or less. It is a FREE service and well worth checking out!

   • PLANETALL - a wonderful FREE service for finding staying in touch with your friends.

   • ZYRIS - HOME PAGE - create your own personalized graphics for your web page - for FREE.

   • SUPER, NATURAL BRITISH COLUMBIA SCREEN SAVER - even if you don't live in British Columbia, these screen saver images of various scenes around the province are GORGEOUS...and FREE!!.

   • CHEZMARK'S MACPICKS - the best in Macintosh software. This site is from the University of Alberta and is updated every Sunday night. I love this site!

   • MACUSER'S SOFTWARE CENTRAL - another great site for Macintosh software. Definitely recommended.

   • WELCOME TO MACCENTRAL - if you've got a Mac, then you will want to visit this site...daily! (grin)

   • MAC FACT PAGE - hehehe...for those who want to get into the Mac/Apple vs PC wars, this is a great site for getting some facts about Apple and the Mac (snicker).

   • QUICOMM - AHOY! SOFTWARE - You simply must go check out the AHOY! communications software. This software allows Mac users to chat to their friends if they are logged onto the internet...no matter where they are on the internet. A Windows 95 version will be out shortly.

   • THE OFFICIAL IRCLE HOME PAGE - For all you Mac users out there who are looking for a great IRC Chat program, check out this site and download the Ircle software. It's a great Chat program!

   • VIRTUAL FLOWERS HOMEPAGE - this is a site where you can send a virtual boquet of flowers to that special someone in your cyberlife.

   • CYBER LOFT POSTCARDS - Cyber Loft offers a bunch of different services, but their Postcards, Toonograms, and Mail A Meal are really worth checking out for a chuckle.

   • ELECTRONIC POSTCARDS - here's another postcard site. Sending electronic postcards to friends is great fun!

   • CNN INTERACTIVE - yep, you got it. This is CNN's homepage where you can get the news and interesting articles.

   • CANOE -- CANADIAN ONLINE EXPLORER - now this is a really interesting site. A great place for news and articles across Canada.

   • THE VANCOUVER SUN - Yep...who needs to have the paper delivered to your door when you can read it online (grin)? Then again, if you have pets... (chuckle)

   • APRIL FOOLS SITE - Hahaha! Although this is an April Fools site, it is great fun all year round! You'll want to bookmark this one.

   • THE ANAGRAM GENIUS - this one is so much fun! You can send in your name or any bit of text you want and the software will email you back the anagram results of the ascii letters. If you like anagrams, you will have a hoot with this site.

   • WHERE'S THAT FROM? - A very simple word game...simple if you know the origin of words ::grin:: There are some real stumpers in there!

   • DUJOUR.COM - DUJOUR.COM is a fun site that changes every day. It has games, riddles, contests, you name it...and there are prizes to win too!

   • ROSIE O'DONNELL - My favourite comedienne!

   • DISCOVERY CHANNEL CANADA - Go to this site and see what the Canadian Discovery Channel has to offer!

   • IVAN'S UNIVERSE - If you have an interest in the stars, comets, what's happening with the moon, etc...this is a good site to check out.

   • 100 RANDOM TAGLINES (Daily) - if you are into collecting taglines, then this is the site to visit! Every day you are presented with 100 new taglines.

   • INTERNET ADDRESS FINDER - One of many search thingies for searching for friends' internet addresses.
