KUDOS AND THANK-YOUs

2002 Thank Yous

Young Allen wanted a BB Gun for Christmas…

Thank you so much for replying to Allen's e-mail.  He really enjoyed it.  And thank you for the BB gun safety tips.  Maybe hearing it from "The Big Guy" himself will help.  I think that what you do is a really great thing.  Thanks again and Happy Holidays.

This was a letter one parent wrote to three email groups she is on.  She is from Australia and needless to say, we got quite a volume of letters from Australia after this.

Thank you so much to our dear and valued member Evelyn Watt for putting us on to the http://www.dm.net/~santa website where you can (or your child can) write a letter to Santa asking for what they want and you can personalise it too with comments ...  our major problem right now is getting Aleisha out of our bed - both kids sleep with us, you see.. but Aleisha is 5.5yrs old...

Look below to what he's said... I'm going to include this into the Xmas album for her - scrapping it is such a great idea complete with Santa PPP's - what astounded me was it TRULY was a personalised letter as the website proclaimed... how many letters they get - what a lovely service!! can't recommend it highly enough ..

THANKS SANTA!!

hugs..lizzieS

A grateful parent who noticed a mistake in the letter to her daughter.  Ho! Ho! Ho! Even Santa makes the occasional error and it slips passed Editor Debi’s eyes.  Needless to say, Santa resent a corrected version of the letter.

Dearest Santa--

Thank you so much for the beautiful letter you sent to my daughter, Kathryn. I'm sure she'll be delighted to read it, although there is one little problem...you've changed her name to Rachel halfway through the letter!! That's the name of one of her best friends, oops! I've tried being sneaky to correct the mistake but can't quite manage it. Would it be asking too much for you to make the correction and resend it to her? Please.

I hope all the most wonderful suprises come your way during the festive season.

From a very grateful Mum.

Another grateful parent:

This is from a kitty owner.  She sent a letter to Santa from her cat and was obviously pleased with the response:

Thanks for the letter Santa.

I know that Muffin's Aunt Diane will want to get a letter for her kitty after she reads your letter, but I forgot to bookmark the site.  Please send the web addy again.

Thanks.

Muffin's Mom  (Muffin tries to be good, but she lives by the rule that anything goes as long as you don't get caught).

A grateful mom says:

Santa

Thanks so much for the emails to Em and Laura ... we all thought it was terrific!  Keep up the good work ....

Love

Yet another grateful mom:

I followed the link sent to the list and let my 7 year old daughter, Catherine, type a little letter to Santa.  She's at an age where she's not quite sure whether to believe in Santa or not.  Her friends are the same way, but together, I think they talk themselves into not believing.

This afternoon, after a day of fighting the crowds at Wal-Mart and Michael's, we came home and found an email to Catherine from Santa.  The letter was very personalized and written 'especially for her.'  She was thrilled beyond words.

I have to say THANK YOU so much to all who are behind the Santa letters because it really touched her - and me! The letter is great - and helped her to remember the meaning behind the season.

Thank you!!

Hugs

From an adult who wrote in:

I sent a letter to Santa, too, and found the reply so moving I burst into tears reading it.

Thanks, Janet??-- or to whomever is writing these...

Marilyn

This is from a mom who  has written in the past.  She wrote this to one of the email groups she’s on, so this is a thank you in advance to all elves:

I anxiously await mine, and my son's :)

I know in years past they were completely awesome.

Here is a thank you for a late letter.  This letter didn’t get answered on time (before Santa had to go on his trip), so when the response was ready, Mrs. Claus sent it out for Santa…

Thank You, Mrs. Claus, for forwarding the letter from Santa.  I KNEW if ANYONE could help me with my Creative Block, it would be the BigGuy, himself! NO one is more creative than Santy!!

I will try what he says, and hope that I get as clear a picture of the ART as He thinks I will.

Oh, and please, tell all the folks at DM.net I said HI!!!!

Thanks.

Debi-Ellen
