Shiro's Forever Home!

Just when you think life can't get any worse, a miracle happens! I don't know how my life ended up with me being in a shelter in California, but things were not looking good. I was scared because no one seemed to want me and my eyes were bothering me. Then a wonderful lady in California got in touch with a wonderful lady in Blaine, WA - Eleni's Furbaby Rescue in Washington - and that's when my life turned around.

Hi, my name is Shiro

(Shiro - means white in Japanese; white for divine realization, spiritual attunement, healing, love, purity, peace and perfection)
10 lb Shih Tzu
White and Charcoal
Male, approximate 2 years old

This is me! I have glaucoma so just before I made the trip from California to Blaine, WA, a very nice vet had to remove one of my eyes. I feel sooo much better now that that eye isn't bothering me anymore. Besides, I have another one and I can get around just fine, thank you!

I am a quiet, loving, sweet little boy. I am very proud of my hair which has beautiful charcoal markings. I had plenty of time in the California shelter to contemplate life and all I could think about was what it would be like to have a Forever Home of my very own.
