A Taste of Vancouver!

English Bay, Vancouver, BC!
This is the beach across the street from my place.
Welcome to our Neighbourhood!
- Here are other pictures of my neighbourhood:
- Mom's Flowers
For anyone wondering how do flowers do in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland climate, take a look at this picture and the following one. These are grown in my Mom's backyard.
- Flowers - Different Angle
Same flowers taken from a different angle.
- Vancouver in the Fog This is a black and white scan of Vancouver in a Fall fog. It looks eerie in that the city is hidden in the fog and only some tall buildings are poking out. Almost as if they are floating above the clouds, when really it is only fog.
- Park in the Fall Throughout this site there are various pictures of the park next door. This is a picture where the leaves have started to change colour...and fall.
- Seawall Walk This is the seawall that Bridget and I go for our walks on. The next 5 pictures are different views taken on one of our walks.
- Seawall, looking back This view is looking back towards the neighbourhood.
- Water and Seawall You can get the feel of the beach on one side of the seawall and the park (Stanley Park) on the other side.
- Bridget, the Sea Dog Bridget loves her walks along the seawall. She also loves walking on the curb along the walk.
- English Bay A view of English Bay taken from the seawall.
- Feeding Seagulls This may be a little hard to see, but it was a great photo opportunity of a mother and daughter sitting out on the rocks feeding the seagulls.
- More Seawall This is a very peaceful stretch of the seawall.
- Pretty Sailboat As you are walking along the wall, you never know when you'll turn a corner and find a scene like this.
- Alexandria Park This little park is the park right next door to my apartment. If you cross the street, then you will be at English Bay where the photo at the top of this page was taken.
- Other URLs where there are pictures of Vancouver.
- The Vancouver, BC Page - Photos taken by Kathryn Torvick, using an HI-8 video camera and "Snappy" video capture. Video snapshots are of a lower resolution, which explains the "chunky" paint-by-number effect on some of the pictures.
