What is BDSM?

BDSM stands for Bondage, Domination, Sadism and Masochism. These are lifestyles and not what some claim are perversions or kinky habits.

A Little BDSM Humor

After learning there were highly recommended readings from many BDSM sites I decided to visit the local library. When I walked into the Washington Library in Macon, Georgia in February, 1998, the librarians asked me if I needed assistance. After firmly stating to them the books I was interested in, the southern gentleman and lady were taken aback and referred to these books as CULTS, then RELIGIONS, then their PSYCHOLOGY section. Of course, they did not have any of the books I was searching for. I left to visit the local bookstore and to order my books.





I had lived in Atlanta and now have recently moved back to the Middle Georgia area. I am involved with the MaconGeorgiaBDSM over in the Yahoo! Groups area. Work and my family are timely events. I am involved as much as time permits with the local scene. Thank you all for the personal invitation. We feel like part of the BDSM family again.





If most people are curious about the lifestyle, or have been in for some time, please read the file etiquette which reminds us all about the proper etiquette we should consider while in the scene. I can't remember where I obtained it at, but if someone does know, please let me know so I can give proper credit to that web site. For Dominants, this file reminds us all of the discipline we must adhere to. A must read for any dominant.
