Well, I'm doing it again. I'm taking another road trip. This one is not as long or as far as my last. But it's going to be fun.
It really starts out last night (Sunday night) when I made the decision to go. It was a last minute decision. I made up my mind, did some more cleaning and planned out a short trip.
This morning I got up, packed, got someone to take care of the cat, went to the bank and then to AAA. I got a TripTik and hit the road by 12:20pm. I made great time, got into Las Vegas around 4:30pm. I went to Excalibur because I thought it would be fun to stay there, but they were booked. So I made a few phone calls and I ended up at the Monte Carlo. I didn't want to start driving around. I wanted to be in a room when the Oscars started so I could watch them. And I wanted to stay at a casino hotel so I could easily gamble when they were over.
So I got to the room, logged on and watched the Oscars. Pretty good night for Titanic. :)
After the show was over, I went downstairs to gamble a bit. Didn't do too bad, although I lost a bit. Now, I'm back upstairs, writing this. I'm going to figure out exactly what I'm doing tomorrow and then go to bed. See you all tomorrow.
