RomEx, The Romance & Women's Fiction Exchange is a community of romance writers and readers who share their expertise, skills and insights with each other. RomEx offers the romance community a place to chat, learn, promote, discover, and share about our interest in the romance genre.
RomEx is located simultaneously on the Genie Online Service and on Dueling Modems Internet server.
This list was started as a backup in case anything ever happens to RomExers access to RomEx-Genie. It is NOT intended to replace RomEx-Genie or any other RomEx area.
But email is easily accessible by nearly everyone, so it's a great way to keep in touch with our RomEx friends until everyone is online on either RomEx-Genie or RomEx-DM.

Whether you're on the list or the digest, mail to the list needs to be addressed to:
romex@mailinglist.net
This address will send your mail to those on the list and the digest both.
The two lists are identical, but it is possible for you to be subscribed to both at the same time! If you switch from one to the other, please be sure to unsubscribe from the old one as well.
RomEx is designed to keep RomExers and others apprised of activities in all RomEx areas, as well as events of interest to RomExers.
RomEx-Digest is the digestified version of the RomEx list. There is no difference between the lists. The digest is just a way of making it easier for some subscribers to receive mail if traffic begins to get overwhelming. With the digest version, you will receive one post a day (unless traffic becomes extreme, in which case you may get more than one), usually in the evenings. This post will contain all of the day's messages.
There are just few rules which make it easier on the list members.
This list was started as a backup in case anything ever happens to RomExers access to RomEx-Genie. It is NOT intended to replace RomEx-Genie or any other RomEx area.
