| Merry Ol' England. I went to the concierge of the International Hotel in the Docklands and asked them for directions to Stonehenge.
"What's Stonehenge, sir?" "Prehistoric megaliths? A bunch of stones stuck in the ground? About as famous as the pyramids in Egypt?" I nervously looked for a hidden camera. Either this guy was clueless or I was being filmed for a Brit version of Candid Camera. |

He was cluesless.
A helpful guest that had a problem getting directions to some other place themselves directed me to a tourist bureau "in the mall under the escalators." The mall was at Canary Wharf and the tourist bureau at least knew what Stonehenge was. They did, however, have to find outhow to sell me a ticket. There were three of us that took the tour of Stonehenge and Bath. This photo was taken by a cute Australian woman that was in England visiting her sister. Yes, I was cold. |
