Stitch-N-Chat ListStitch-N-Chat ListStitch-N-Chat is a discussion mailing list for stitchers. The list owner is Marg (Margaret) Bloodworth (xscrazy@worldnet.att.net or marg@dm.net). This list is intended to be an informal discussion list for stitchers of all kinds, whether beginner or expert. Talk about your current project, get help with a problem stitch, learn about new designs, and get to know other stitchers from around the world.
There are no topic restrictions, with the exception of flaming (see below). If you are a shop owner and would like to advertise, you may do so, as long as you participate in the discussions on the list. Please feel free to email me directly with your comments and concerns about the list. This list is for the enjoyment and benefit of it's subscribers. If you see areas that may need to be changed, or if you have ideas that will improve the quality of our list, I will be more than glad to discuss them with you, and incorporate them where possible.
FLAMING: Flaming will not be allowed. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. I understand that sometimes people disagree about things. Disagreeing with someone's ideas is fine, name-calling or other personal negative comments will not be tolerated. The consequences of flaming will be as follows:
- 1st offense--a warning letter sent privately to the offending subscriber.
- 2nd offense--the subscriber will be placed on read only for a period of 1 week.
- 3rd offense--the offending subscriber will be removed from the list.
NETIQUETTE: Please keep quoting of original posts to a minimum. Usually a line or two is all that is necessary to remind others of the topic of conversation. Also don't hesitate to edit the subject line of your post. If your post is of a personal nature, you may want to send it privately to the intended recipient.

MANAGING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION: To make changes to your subscription to STITCH-N-CHAT, go to Yahoo Groups and click on Stitch-n-Chat. You can set your subscription to NOMAIL for vacation periods, change your subscription to the Digest format, change your email address or password, view files and archives, or unsubscribe from the list.
