No one believes me now when I say I was a very mellow baby.![]() See? Proof! You'd have to be mellow to lie in this position for long. Right? Right! |
Of course, it was all downhill from there. My grade school was known fondly as the "State Penitentiary," my High School was "Snob High," and my dear old alma mater was "Larry U." All that Education sure looks good in a resume. |
| After being Educated, I got a Job.Then I got Fired. That was fun. Really. I stopped being mellow at this point. | Then I got another Job. As a Paralegal. That Job was almost as fun as getting Fired. Then they had to Cut the Budget, and my job went the way of all Budget Cut Things. |
| So then it took me 9 months to find another Job. That was fun. No, really! I whiled away the time by washing windows and cleaning apartments. Quite a change from being a Paralegal, eh? |
| Then I became an Auntie. This is by far the coolest thing that's ever happened in my life. There's Miss Olivia Ann. Isn't she adorable? I have a nephew, too, Mr. Nicholas Robert, but I only have two pictures of him. The Evil Motives of certain Brothers are under investigation. |

| So after drifting from Job to Job for a while, and becoming less and less mellow, I decided to go into business for myself. Why I did this is still a mystery, but Evil Plotters soon made it impossible for me to make money. So I quit the business and got a Job in a Law Firm and Hated It. |
| So then I went job hunting again, only to be brutally rejected by the State of Oregon. Thus began The Battle For The Job, which I finally won, only to be offered an even better job four days later. Well. If there's one thing I've learned, it's take what you can get! So I took it, and I'm very happy now! | When I'm not being rejected by the State of Oregon, I hang out online. And when I'm not doing that, I'm fleeing from the Irate Piggie Known as Howeg. It may not sound like much of a life, but it's all mine. Or, as Mr. Bunnell would say: Been There. Done That. Survived. |
And now I've gone condo! After years and years of pouring money down the rent-a-place drain, I've mortgaged myself to the hilt. I'm still wondering if this is a Good Thing... |
But for now at least, I'm one happy owner... |
Of a hearth and everything!![]() | |
