The Life Of A Thief
** Allussa Windsinger is born.
** Allussa defeats and exiles a fellow tribe member, Malcus, who was intent on taking the tribe down the path of sorcery
** A drought causes great hardships for Allussa's tribe. She seeks help from a nearby human settlement but is rebuffed by all but one: a farmer named Damius Wolfren. Smitten by Allussa, Damius covertly aids her tribe with food he has stored on his farm.
** Damius asks Allussa to marry him. She accepts, leaving her tribe and her position as lorekeeper. Damius' family disowns him for this decision, so he takes Allussa's family name.
** ALLURA WINDSINGER IS BORN. **
** Allura's little brother, Damen, is born. (Age: 3)
** Allura is taken by Allussa to her mother's village to be presented to the village elders. It is the only time she will see the village in over 60 years. (Age: 5)
** Allussa performs the LifeFlame ceremony on Allura, a ritual that reveals the two guiding forces in that person's life. Allura discovers that Spider and Shark are her Spirit Father and Mother respectively. (Age: 7)
** The human settlement near Allura's home is over-run by an army of ghouls. Her farm is also attacked, and Damius gives his life to allow Allussa and the children a chance to escape. Damen is lost during their flight through ghoul-infested woods. Allura and her mother are rescued by a retired thief, Arkhelum Slyboots. (Age: 8)
** Discovering a curious Allura experimenting with his old lockpicking tools, Arkhelum begins to train her in the arts of the thief. (Age: 14)
** Maddened by years of grief at the loss of her husband and son, Allussa uses her lore powers to try and bring Damius back. She succeeds, but not as she had anticipated: Damius appears as a zombie. The undead creature kills Allussa in front of her daughter, forcing Arkhelum and Allura to flee their home for several days. When they return, Arkhelum adopts Allura as his own daughter. (Age: 15)
** Arkhelum dies. Allura takes his family name as her own, becoming Allura Slyboots. She leaves her home of 15 years and heads for a distant frontier town known as Kelfour's Landing. (Age: 23)
** Ciaran Nightwing arrives at Kelfour's Landing not long after Allura. (Age: 23)
** Allura joins House Phoenix because of their stance against the Unlife. (Age: 30)
** Ciaran proposes to Allura, who accepts. (Age: 32)
** The Great Immigration occurs, and a massive wave of adventure-seekers swamps the lands, changing them forever. (Age: 37)
** Aided by the spirit of her mother, Allura faces the zombie of her father and the anger and hatred towards Allussa that she has kept inside her for so many years. Releasing his soul from its torment and reconciling with her mother, Allura reclaims her original family name and is granted nobility. She is now known as Lady Allura Windsinger Slyboots. (Age: 43)
** Allura acquires an enchanted broadsword made of an ancient metal no longer found in the lands. Naming the sword after her mother's family name, she carries Windsinger with her for the rest of her life. (Age: 48)
** Disillusioned by its inactivity, and no longer obsessed with striking down the undead, Allura resigns from House Phoenix. (Age: 49)
** Lord Cemb Chimare introduces Allura to the Silver Gryphons and, later, the Wehnimer Militia. (Age: 50)
** Frustrated and angry at the actions of the Militia leadership during an invasion at the Spider Temple, Allura is befriended by Lady Tygerclaws Jonetaire. (Age: 54)
** Feeling abandoned by Ciaran, who vanished from the lands some 10 years prior, Allura ends her engagement to him. (Age: 55)
** Confused by her strong feelings for Lady Tygerclaws, Allura is visited by her spirit father, Spider. Scolding her for abandoning his teachings over the years, Spider helps Allura come to grips with herself and with her feelings for Tygerclaws. (Age: 57)
** Allura masters the final step on the Path and becomes a Mistress in the Order of Voln. (Age: 58)
** Allura and Tygerclaws are engaged to be married. (Age: 59)
** Allura joins the Tribe, a group of amazons dedicated to the path of the goddess Leya. Becoming distrustful of the Tribe's leadership, Allura leaves after a few months. (Age: 59)
** Allura is adopted as a sister by Keraa De Worthe and Breannaa de Arcy. (Age: 59)
** With Tygerclaws as her sponsor, Allura becomes a member of the Silvergate Inn. (Age: 60)
** Ciaran Nightwing returns to the lands, mysteriously unaged after his long absence. He gives his blessing to the engagement of Allura and Tygerclaws. (Age: 61)
** Through her skills and abilities as a thief, Allura becomes one of the 100 most famous of her profession in the lands. (Age: 66)
** Lady Allura Windsinger Slyboots and Legend Lady Tygerclaws Jonetaire elope and are married in Imaera's Shrine in the Lysierian Hills. (Age: 72)
** The spirit of her mother brings Allura back to Allussa's village where Malcus has returned to exact his revenge on Allussa, unaware that she is dead. Discovering her own lore powers, Allura helps to defeat the sorcerer and is declared a Legend of her people. (Age: 73)
** Tygerclaws and Allura drift apart. In a painful, but mutual decision, they incinerate their wedding rings and dissolve their marriage, parting as friends. Allura leaves for Teras, beginning a walkabout to allow herself time to heal. (Age: 74)
** Knowledge of Allura's abilities and prowess spreads throughout the lands, making her one of the 100 most famous of her race in Elanthia. (Age: 76)
** Allura begins composing songs. She buys a cittern, which she dubs "Siren" and begins learning how to play. (Age: 76)
** The Elanthian Rogue's Guild becomes an organized establishment throughout the lands. Allura becomes a charter member of the newly reformed Guild. (Age: 78)
** Allura meets Lady Calle Cederia. The two women become close and begin exploring their feelings for each other. (Age: 82)
** Allura proposes to Calle with a song. Calle accepts, and the two women are engaged to be married. (Age: 84)
** Allura's story-poem, "Kittens' Play", wins third place in the Second Annual House Sovyn Storytelling Contest. (Age: 86)
** Together with Liranne Shilawyr and Misty DreamStealer, Allura enters her song, "Trilogy", in the fourth annual House Aspis Bardfest. Although well received by the audience, the trio fails to reach the finals. (Age: 90)
** Legend Lady Allura Slyboots and Lady Calle Cederia are wed in a small, private ceremony in the Shrine of Leya. (Age: 90)
** Allura becomes talented enough at the Guild skill of Sweep that she achieves Master rank in the ability. (Age: 91)
** Calle is summoned back to the village of her birth, where the elders offer her a position of great honor. However, half-elves are shunned by the village, so Allura is not welcome there. Realizing how important the position is for Calle, the two women annul their marriage, and Calle leaves for her village. (Age: 92)
** Weary of her life as an adventurer, Lady Allura Windsinger Slyboots leaves Elanthia forever to return to her mother's village. Ciaran Nightwing is the only person to see her leave from Wehnimer's Landing. (Age: 93)
