Richard Parks' Den of Ego And Iniquity

What Were You Expecting? Brad Pitt?

"Richard Parks is a Mississippi Storyteller. Atypical of the breed, he cannot tell a lie with a straight face, and so has to write them all down. Some of his better fibs have appeared in Asimov's SF Magazine, Science Fiction Age, Realms of Fantasy, and Dragon Magazine. He lives with a wife and three cats who don't believe a word he says, except on his birthday and certain designated major holidays."

Two books new for 2007!  It’s shaping up to be an interesting year.  Worshipping Small Gods, my second collection of short fiction (with three all new original stories you can’t find elsewhere) was published in April by Prime Books. A stand alone novella, Hereafter, and After was published in March by PS Publishing in the UK.  You can read Charles de Lint’s execellent review of both books at the  F&SF web site.  Also, Worshipping Small Gods received a *starred* review in Publisher's Weekly.

My World Fantasy Award nominated short story collection The Ogre's Wife: Fairy Tales for Grownups, is still available at Amazon.com, BAMM.com, and directly from the publisher, Obscura Press. You can read Charles de Lint's excellent review at the F&SF website.  Paul Di Filippo’s review in  Asimov’s SF can be read online here.
