Rita Adair-Robison

Welcome to my website. I'm Rita Adair-Robison, a former actress who still does an occasional performance. My main focus now is writing, with several short stories and articles to my credit. My romance novel, written for adult new readers, was a FINALIST in the Laubach Literacy Contest. Currently in the works are a "sweet" contemporary and a romantic suspense, with a Regency simmering on the back burner. I am a member of Romance Writers of America, Orange County Chapter of RWA, and Kiss of Death, the mystery/suspense chapter of RWA. On-line, I am active in Romex on Genie, several writing lists, and newsgroups for my passion, the TV series La Femme Nikita. Recently, I accepted a position with Starlight Writer Publications and I am excited to be a part of this new E-Publishing venture.

Born and raised in Muleshoe, Texas, I have lived in Southern California for many years. My background is in music, dance and drama. My writing interest comes from a life-long love of the written word. I began reading at the age of three and books have been a passion of mine ever since. I love animals of all kinds but am particularly fond of cats and wild bird, especially hummingbirds, and I collect hummingbird memorabilia.
