One white flash every 20 seconds, visible for 24 sea miles. Fog warning- 2 blasts every 60 seconds.

The lighthouse on the Longstone Rock was built in 1826. Its first keeper was William Darling, who had previously kept the light on the nearby Brownsea Island, which was removed from service.
