Aladdin's ESB



        - For extract brewers -



  4 lbs Alexanders Sun Country 

  3 lbs DME



        - or for partial mash brewers -



  3 lbs pale ale malt

  1 lb DME 



        - or for you all grain brewers -



  8.5 lbs Pale Ale malt (depending on efficiency)



        - then everybody uses -



  6 oz Crystal malt 90L

  1/2 oz Roast Barley

  2 oz Fuggles for bittering (or Styrian Goldings)

  1/2 oz EKG dry hop (could use British Columbia Goldings)

  London III or London ESB yeast (do a starter!)



For those doing a partial mash, you of course mash the 3 pounds pale

ale malt with the crystal malt and roast barley, collect the runnings

into your brew kettle, top off with water and then add the Alexanders

and DME.
