LamPils - The GTB Version

 10.25 lb German Pils malt

 .75 lb Cara Pils malt

 2 oz British Crystal 40 malt

 2 oz Saaz hop pellets (5.0 alpha) 60 min  42.9 IBU -  10 HBU

 1.5 oz Saaz pellets (dry hop in secondary)

 1 pkg Wyeast Czech #2278 liquid yeast

 1/4 tsp chalk (CaC03)

 1 tbls Irish Moss 10 minutes into the boil



Mash in 3 gallons water at 113F for 15 min Raise to 140F for 15

minutes Raise to 150F for 60 minutes Mash out at 168F for 5 minutes

Sparge with 5 gallons water heated to 165F





The overall recipe is for 6 gallons so I can lose a bit during

racking and still have 5 gallons of brew......
